nference is to be held in Frankfurt. The exhibition is organized by Messago (Messe Frankfurt Group), which will bring a new image to visitors of “co
ncept manufacturing”, including additive manufacturing, automation and intelligent equipments, covering the product porfolio and processing chain solutions.
During the Asiamold 2015, at the press co
nference on September 16th, Guangzhou, Formnext VP Mr. Sascha Wenzler introduced the subjects, targeted visitors, exhibitors and some oher working situation. Some “big names” in 3D printing are on the exhibitors list: Co
ncept Laser, Stratasys, SLM, Renishaw, EOS etc. Also there are some other tool makers and process chain related enterprises. The automotive giant, Audi, will take a large booth. As Audi adopts many integrated new technology to production, which make it a spot light at Formnext 2015.
Now Mesago is inviting visitors from automation, electro
nic engineering, dental, packaging, general manufacturing and other industries. And it is expected to have more than 10,000 visitors to join this event.
At the Q&A, Mr. Wenzler explained the meaning of “fromnext”: ‘form’ means making something real, and ‘next’ means next generation technology and innovation. Therefore, Formnext is not o
nly an exhibition focusing on 3D printing. It’s going to realize the next generation ideas and technology. The co
ncept from Germany “Industrie 4.0”, includes the next generation industrial technology. It ranges from robot, automation, intelligent equipment, digital factory to software control, 3D printing etc.
During the formnext 2015, there will be a seminar on additive manufacturing, inviting some pio
neers of 3D printing to make lessons. You should not miss it!
